About Timothy K. Powers

Timothy K. Powers is a real estate investor based in Alamo, California. Known as Tim, he has been with WeBuyHouses.com since 2014. He invests in real estate in the East Bay, Contra Costa County, and the wider Northern California area. His current focus is buying investment properties in need of major repair. He helps homeowners get out of difficult situations — including properties with bad tenants — by buying properties as-is.

Community service is a central part of Tim's life. He is very active with the Order of Malta, which is dedicated to serving the sick and the poor, including bringing the sick to Lourdes, France on pilgrimage. He actively serves with the Contra Costa Food Bank, with St Vincent de Paul at the St Mary's pantry, and with the Missionaries of Charity sisters feeding homeless people in the streets of Oakland. He is also a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, serving handicapped children and helping veterans with housing and other essentials.

In the past, Tim volunteered with the Salvation Army ARC as a spiritual director to men working on sobriety. He also served as a hospital chaplain at Kaiser, helping those hospitalized with emotional and spiritual needs during their time of difficulty.

Based in Alamo, Tim is interested in connecting with other East Bay real estate investors and professionals. Contact: Tpowers@webuyhouses.com
